I heard yesterday was pretty busy, and it was to be expected. A big week of snow brought everyone here for the weekend. Today I headed up on an early lift, and found about 10cm of light powder on top of groomed, firm bases. Tokum and Raven had been groomed before the snow had fallen, so they were in fantastic shape. So we took advantage of Garbanzo chair being opened this weekend, and lapped them a few times.

The sun came out enough to give excellent visibility, and it turned out to be an awesome morning for us – while the line ups at Emerald and Red chairs were growing in size, we managed around 4-5 runs before having to wait for a chair on ‘Garbo’. Finally the numbers trickled down and at 11:10 we saw the first ‘wait’.

Enough of the pictures and words.

I love this post, I haven’t seen myself on skis in a while, I think the last time was from the Poop Chutes last year. I can’t wait till Blackcomb opens.

    Thanks!!!
