Another beautiful bluebird day here in Whistler. Clear skies with cold temperatures meant another great day to be on the slopes. The skiing is amazing. Off-piste is getting a little bumpy, as no new snow has fallen for a while. That being said, the snow off-piste is still soft and fun to play in, because of the fore-mentioned cold temps. As usual, the groomed runs are in splendid condition.
It isn’t long before the Telus World Ski and Snowboard festival is back. Lots of entertainment with free concerts and snow sports abound. If you have been thinking about checking out this festival, this year could be the best so far. The weather seems to be clearing up, which means classic spring skiing under the sun, and Whistler still has a lot of snow, with skiing out to the village still available to all parts.
