Flurries break up the day

January 19th, 2008 · No Comments

It was a good day to be on Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. 2 cm of snow overnight and another 6 cm during the day really revitalized the snow base we have. Spent most of the day blasting around on groomers again, skiing is an awesome sport. The sun shone a few times, but mostly it was cloudy with the flurries mentioned already. Not very cold and virtually no winds made it a pleasant day to tour the mountains.

Snow Report:

The forecast is looking good again :) A few more days of this great sunshine, then some more snow. Powder is on the way again !! I’m not sure of the amount of precipitation in this next system, and will look into it. Looks like it is supposed to arrive around the beginning of next weekend. Amazing conditions are about to get better.
