Thanks once again to Laura for today’s report.

Disclosure: I am fogaphobic. My pals wanted to spend the morning in the alpine. So I traipsed along with them and suffered with lovely snow underfoot, but unable to really enjoy it due to my viz issues.

Over at Harmony, we skied Boomer bowl, and Harvey’s. There was nice light snow on top of nice wintery snow. The fog was less thick at the Boomer/Harvey’s level, but it was still soupy. It snowed steadily all day above the Green/Red chairs. Over at the Peak, it was the same with the fog hanging lower than usual: all the way to Highway 86. Temps were warm and there was no wind.

The place was empty.

The afternoon was much more enjoyable for me as we skied Ratfink, under the Peak 2 Peak and Franz’s Meadow/VD Chutes. The snow is wonderful at the mid-mountain level, perhaps a little sticky in places where the snow changes to a slushier surface.

At Creekside, you can only ski out Peak to Creek (Lower Franz’s and Dave Murray are closed) or you can download via the Creekside Gondola.
