Blackcomb mountain is in great shape, the snow is amazing, pity the visibility was hit and miss today. When the light was good, it was fresh tracks galore, but when it went, it was hard going finding your way down the runs. There was a decent wind, steady all day which kept blowing in the tracks, unfortunately it was hard to take advantage of it due to the bad visibility. Once you got down below the tree line, and I mean once you got a fair way below the tree line, the visibility was awesome and the skiing was epic, just a shame it wasn’t that good further up.

Forecast for tonight looks awesome, with 10 -15 cm expected, with another 5 or so during the day tomorrow So make plans for first lifts tomorrow !! Whistler Blackcomb is reporting the snow base at 226cm. Long term forecast is looking good too, with a lot of snow, and a few sunny days here and there.
