Whistler has plenty of snow with the base being reported at 230 cm. Constant flurries day in and day out are maintaining the awesome ski conditions we have right now. Light winds and good visibility is helping to make for an great ski experience, with both mountains fully open.
Overnight we received 5 cm and expect roughly the same tonight. More snow is in the forecast, with at least one decent dump ( 10cm+ ) expected in th next few days.

Hey, you say its expected to be quiet the next few weeks, I’m there from the 19th for 2 weeks, think it’ll be quiet then?
By the way, you sound like you ski every day, how exactly do you get such a life?

Hi Ed, I have no way of knowing how much the hotels are booked out, but going from previous experience, I expect that time of year to be very quiet. Your second week will probably be busier than the first, but still small lift lines.
The weekend of the 19th has a Skier / Snowboard Cross event planned, which is on Blackcomb mountain, and the following weekend has a SuperG event planned ( normally on Whistler mountain ) so there will be a small bit of terrain unavailable those weekends, but I doubt it will bother you, and I also doubt whether the few extra people around will either, as they spend most of their time around the race courses.
I just noticed another GS the following weekend, but don’t worry these events are planned for these weekends because it IS quiet.
As for skiing every day, I do, almost, I miss the occasional day. I have other websites that actually make me money, and I work the occasional part time job, generally a night job.
Hope you enjoy your visit to Whistler.
