Snow has returned to Whistler. While no big snowfalls have happened ( yet ), it has been basically a constant on / off of flurries for the last few days, and the forecast is for much of the same. Thursday, or maybe Friday should see our first big dump of the system, with around 15 - 20 cm expected in a 24 hour period.
Today was a little moody, with overcast and slightly windy conditions. Still the snow is awesome, and the fresh stuff we have gotten is making the cold, soft base even better. The temperatures have stayed really cold, which makes for great snow, just a little hard to ski all day ( without a few warmth breaks ).
Snow Report:
9 cm of new snow with a snow base of 229 cm.
