Go Daddy! Go Daddy!

The Olympic Torch just entered Whistler, and is winding a procession which will eventually end at the Skiers Plaza at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. It is due to arrive there around 7pm, at which time they will have a ceremony, and to quote:

Whistler’s community torchbearer, Tyler Allison, will carry the Olympic Flame on the final leg of its journey to the stage where he will light the 1.3-metre high celebration cauldron.

You can learn more about the flames route and planned entertainment at whistler2010.com

Update: Here is a photo of the cauldron just after Tyler Allison lit it.
