I didn’t manage to get up the hill today, I was too busy nursing a hangover My bad as it would’ve been a great day, with 18 cm of fresh powder falling overnight, and constant snow throughout the day. Here in the village we were getting nice big flakes of light snow, I got buried in snow walking about 500m The bad news for the day was the alpine lifts remained closed - again. I personally am happy with that, as it saves all that snow for me to get at tomorrow, but I’m sure there were a few unhappy people because of it.  It seems the winds are going to be high again tomorrow, so maybe we will have to wait until Sunday to get into the alpine.

Forecast of another 5 - 10 cm tonight, with a freezing level staying in the valley.

The snow base is over the 2 metre mark at 208 cm.
