Today was a bit of a gong show regarding parking (again), but that was soon forgotten once you hit the slopes. It was a lot calmer than yesterday, and the visibility was pretty good. Showcase T-bar opened after being closed during the last storm and the Blackcomb Glacier was sweet. A grade snow, and plenty of it
Spankys is in fantastic condition, and the better visibility made for epic runs. Sapphire was sick (see video of Nicole below) and Zut Zut never fails to please.
I guess there isn’t much more that needs to be said.

Hi,
I’m coming to whistler on the 25th of march and I’m so excited.
Is there any snow in the village? And do you think that the good conditions will last?
Thanks a lot,
Alice
There is currently snow in the valley, but since it will mostly be rain in the valley from now on – it might not last too long.
The good news is that the forecast for the rest of the month looks pretty wet, and reasonably cold – cold enough for good snow on the upper mountain changing to wet/heavy snow from mid-mountain down (a guess).
I am confident you will have great snow coverage and some powder days.
