Sun comes out to play in Whistler

January 7th, 2008 · No Comments

Another beautiful day in Whistler. The sun came out early, and the day was mostly awesome visibility. Still plenty of fresh snow around, and with a freezing level in the valley, the snow is staying cold and light.

Whistler snow base is 232 cm / 91 in. 12 cm of new snow in the last 24 hours, and the temperatures are staying nice and cold. More snow is forecast every day for the rest of the week, no huge dumps anymore, but a nice 20 cm or so is expected around Thursday.
