Whistler snow conditions for December 30, 2007

December 30th, 2007 · No Comments

Whistler Blackcomb ski resort is currently in great shape. The snow is awesome, and we have plenty of coverage. The snow base is reported at 175 cm with 10 cm of fresh powder falling last night. Although the slopes are busy with the holiday crowd, you can still find some great lines and deep pow. The forecast is looking great, December has been a month to remember, and January is shaping up to be another great month. Next week we are expecting a lot more snow, however the freezing level is also set to rise. This means heavier snow, as it is still a bit wet. While not quite as good to ski as the light fluffy stuff we have been getting lately, the wet stuff can be a lot of fun, especially when you get 20 - 30 cm dumps of it ( like we are forecast ).
